About Me

I approach therapy from a place of curiosity, compassion, and humor to help you uncover the places where you feel most stuck in order to lead the life you desire. I have worked extensively with adolescents and adults navigating a range of challenges, including general life stressors and transitions, acute and ongoing traumas, social anxieties, and self-esteem and identity challenges.

My practice draws from elements of somatic, internal family systems and mindfulness based therapies. There is a magic to therapy if the therapist is present and capable of holding space- something special happens and healing is possible. I aim to bring an additional level of awareness to integrate the mind and body into the process to help you access the root of your suffering to feel empowered, liberated and embodied. I am currently completing the EMDR training through the EMDR institute and will be offering this form of treatment shortly.

I graduated from the Silberman School of Social Work with a Masters in Clinical Social Work, where I focused on mindfulness based stress reduction and its impacts on individuals with acute and chronic trauma. In addition, I received my 200-hour yoga teacher training through the warm and wise Shala Yoga House in Brooklyn, New York.

My previous roles involved nonprofit and school-based work including individual and group counseling and creating and leading psychoeducational workshops to support and empower youth, families and school staff.

I believe we all have the capacity to lead a meaningful and vibrant life and I would be honored to support you on this journey. Reach out on the contact page to schedule a free consultation! I am currently accepting new clients to work with remotely or in person.
